About

I'm not really one thing.

I trained as an architectural technologist, I work in architecture, and outside of that I'm co-founder of a fitness tech company.

Most days I train early before work. I work a full day, then come home to build, test, fix and design late into the night. That probably explains me better than any job title does.

I'm drawn to things that take discipline: buildings, products, training, businesses. I like the process of taking an idea seriously enough to make it real, then pushing it until it's actually good.

A Fitness x Crypto move-to-earn startup, founded with my best friend Martin. I have built the iOS and Android apps, website and backend systems. Find out more at motraapp.com.

Turned my hobby of 3D printing into a profitable business selling Formula 1 track maps on Etsy.

Hobby projects

I like building things that work for me instead of accepting sub-standard products. Here are a few examples.

The Renault app was terrible, and all I wanted was one button that opened Apple Maps and gave me walking directions back to where I parked my car. So I built it.

I could not find a journal app I liked, so I built my own. I add a daily story, three key tasks for tomorrow that sync to Reminders, and tick off the habits I am tracking.

Nothing groundbreaking. Plenty of TV control apps already exist, but they all had ads or a subscription fee, so I built my own.
